BIO

Lilyfang is as fierce and aggressive as they come. She lives for the soul purpose of keeping SkyClan a bunch of intimidating warriors. This gal also grew up with Pinestar, and is rather adept at drawing him out of his reserved shell. They're rivals, friends, and later will become mates. Anyway, love's not something she's interested in at the moment. All Lily wants is the appear as awesome and strong as possible. This often leads her into troublesome situations, which she'll more than likely either gain equally radical friends for, or get some glares directed toward her. Either way, she'll take both head on, so come at her bro!

BIO

Stormbird was originally training to be a warrior, and just recently just got named one; however, he's always dreamed of being a medicine cat instead. About a moon ago he finally gained the confidence to ask Sandfeather and Falconstar, which resulted in him being thrown back into apprenticeship, not that he minds! Storm is a kind and understanding guy who would make friends easily if not for his difficulty talking to those he doesn't know well. This is slowly changing, but he still gets a bit nervous at times. He can be quite the riot when you get him on a roll. Once put into a good and confident mood, Stormbird can change into a blunt and sarcastic cat with a flexible sense of humor and a habit of getting a bit carried away at times thanks to the influence of his siblings.

SANDFEATHER & STORMBIRD

Oooh so this is going to be interesting! <3 Not only was Stormbird trained as a warrior, something Sandfeather could never be, but he is also really close to her age. Like less than 7 moons I think. So I think the pair will definitely have an interesting and unique relationship as far as mentors and apprentices or even medicine cats go. I bet that she would spend quite a bit of time asking him about being a warrior, and she has lots and lots to teach!

SANDFEATHER & STORMBIRD

Eep! Stormbird would definitely be more than willing to tell Sandfeather all about warriorhood. He didn't hate it, so it wouldn't be described as a terrible experience. He definitely prefers being an MCA though, and would envy and respect Sand for being able to be one from the time she was 6 moons. I imagine they would definitely swap a lot of stories and maybe become good friends because of it. Also, Storm is playful, but also rather serious about his duties as a medicine cat's apprentice, so I also think he'd be able to reign Sand in when she became too boisterous. xD

LILYFANG & STAGSTRIDER
So, I caved and made one of Pine's brothers for myself, so, he's likely going to have a relationship with Lilyfang of some kind. I think, beyond the fact that he's going to tease the hell out of Lily about anything to do with Pine, they could be on pretty good terms, though his lack of seriousness could cause issues here and there. Maybe he could be a listening ear for her to bounce thoughts off after the romance plot stuff starts taking off?

LILYFANG & ORCHIDFEATHER
Orchidfeather is almost Lily's polar opposite, but I can see them being friends? Orchid would have a lot of patience for Lily and everything she does, while Lily might be able to help coax her into being a tad bit more confident, given that's something she's still improving on.

STORMBIRD & TINYPAW
Given Tinypaw's likely going to be visiting the medicine cat's den a lot over time, I think she and Stormbird could get along really well! She'd really admire his urge to follow his heart, and would watch him with awe and generally a lot of respect.

okay so first off, I'M SO SORRY FOR HOW LATE THIS IS. life has been incredibly busy, and i'm a horridly easy person to distract.

STAGSTRIDER && LILYFANG
i think these two would be adorable friends. they both get a kick out of poking pine's buttons. i can also see lilyfang getting super annoyed with stag's lack of seriousness when it comes to duties, and trying to go all drill sergeant on him. anywho, she'd also probably cave and talk his ears off about pinestar once she realized her feelings, and even before, which would be hilarious! so yeah, i imagine them as two good girlfriends (despite stagstrider being a boy xD).

ORCHIDFEATHER && LILYFANG
lilyfang doesn't do delicate or kind well, so i think this could be pretty funny. lilyfang would for sure try and toughen orchid up, while also casually admiring and trying her hand at the patience thing. orchidfeather would definitely be cause for some character developmenttt!

TINYPAW && STORMBIRD
stormbird loves to love and be loved. he's got some confidence issues that he tends to try to deal with by himself, but tends to be extremely caring and friendly. i think he'd be very fond of tinypaw as well, and flustered by her awe and respect. <3

calm in the storm, What's sad is all her efforts would be wasted. Stag would likely just stare at her for a bit as she lectured, then roll on his back or something very much not serious just to get further on her nerves. it'd be a lot of wasted effort. xD But, I agree, that's the best image for them! Maybe he could even be the one to kind of prod her all, are you sure you want your apprentice hooking up with your guy.

ORCHIDFEATHER & LILYFANG
That would be great to experience from both sides! It'd be interesting to see what Lily could do as far as getting Orchid's confidence up, even in the drill sergeant sort of sense that she tries unsuccessfully with Stag. xD Patience would also be a good developing point that Orchid would be happy to help her with. We can start these two at whatever point you'd like to see them at, though!

Poor baby. </3 Yes though! I agree, that sounds fantastic. <3 She'll likely come for a visit in the near future, so we'll see what happens!

This announcement is being made with an extremely heavy heart, and we know it may not be a popular one. However, Alee and I have made the decision that we are going to be closing Chasing the Sun by the end of the month. Originally, we were going to wait till the end of the activity check before making the call either way, as no doubt some of you picked up from my introduction to the check itself. But, after seeing some of the most recent hiatuses and their updates, and talking with a few members who will not be continuing on the site, we’ve decided at this stage in time, it’s the right time to bring things to a close.

Chasing the Sun is a play-by-post roleplay based on the Warriors series by Erin Hunter. We are set in the original forest in an alternative universe from the books, where SkyClan were never forced from the forest and the characters we have known and loved have not existed. We have a 150-word minimum and a sandbox roleplay setting that does not have an overarching plot, only those that members form together. The world is there to shape by the characters than inhabit it, growing the forest into something unique from what we have seen before. THUNDERCLAN VERSES BADGERS
Due to a change of high ranks that is to take place, this plot has been updated and modified. if you were originally involved, please make sure to check the thread and voice if you still want involvement as soon as possible! The Forest Prince is the the current thread leading into the start of this plot.

WIND/SHADOW VERSES ROGUES
Redstar, Rosestar and their fellow high ranks of WindClan and ShadowClan have met on the border of the clans and formed a truce, after it has become aware that a group of rogues has become a threat. Both leaders have addressed this issue in their clan meetings, with Rosestar setting the rule that until the rogues have been dealt with, cats are not to leave camp alone.

WINDCLAN - MEDICINE CAT PLOT
A significant change has taken place in the direction of this plot, and the main post has now been edited to reflect such. We are still looking for WindClan cats to be involved, so if you have a cat you’d like to have something happen to, places are still open.

SKYCLAN VERSES RIVERCLAN
With the border clash narrowly avoided by Pinestar’s intervention, steam has yet to ease, as the SkyClan patrol stand in camp to address the clan getting too ambitious. Meanwhile, with the change in leadership of RiverClan causing discomfort across the clan, there is no doubt that everyone is on edge. Another clash is imminent.
